Acasa Labs builds software for civil contractors: tender intake, bid preparation, contracts, RFIs, vendor quotes, and drawings on one project record. We also make SigmaCPM, our construction project management platform, now in early access. Its AI pulls line items and bond terms out of tender PDFs and cites the page for every value it extracts.
The problem
The same line item, typed in five times.
A civil contractor's estimator opens a tender package of scanned and digital PDFs and types the same line items into a spreadsheet, a bond form, quote requests to vendors, and later the progress bill. Every re-key is a chance for a wrong number, and a wrong number in a bid is expensive. General AI tools make it worse when they guess. Contractors need software that reads the tender, shows where each value came from, and carries it through the project.

What we learned building SigmaCPM.
No quote, no value
SigmaCPMEvery value the model extracts must come with a quote, and that quote must be found on the cited page. If it is not there, the value is dropped instead of guessed.
A second model checks the bond terms
SigmaCPMBond terms are re-checked by a second, adversarial model run. When the two disagree, the term goes into a disputed state for a person to resolve.
Old tenders work too
SigmaCPMScanned pages go through OCR with retry handling before extraction, so older tender packages are not left out.
Read the right pages, and count the cost
SigmaCPMCandidate pages are retrieved before extraction, so the model reads the pages that matter instead of the whole package, and tokens and cost are recorded on every call.

Can AI read our tender documents accurately?
It can extract line items and terms, but it should never be trusted blind. SigmaCPM requires every value to carry a quote found on the cited page, re-checks bond terms with a second pass, and sends disagreements to a person.
Does it work with scanned tenders?
Yes. SigmaCPM runs OCR with retry handling on scanned pages before extraction.
Is SigmaCPM available now?
SigmaCPM is in early access. If it fits your work, we can bring you onto it. If you need your own system, we build that on the same approach.
Can it connect to our ERP or accounting software?
In a custom build, yes, if the system has an API or an import format. We check the specific software before promising it.
Who checks the AI's work?
Your estimator. The software does the reading and the re-keying. Disputed values, and anything the model could not cite, go to a person to decide.
Do you build apps for site teams?
Yes. We build iOS and Android apps, and a site app can work from the same project record as the office.
