Fashion tech development

Every SKU on a model, on the day the drop goes live.

Acasa Labs builds software for fashion and apparel brands: AI catalogue photography, marketplace-ready product images, and online stores. We make Kraftr, our AI catalog studio for fashion and jewelry brands, which turns one flat-lay or hanger shot per SKU into on-model imagery at up to 4K, sized for Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, and Shopify.

The problem

The shoot is the bottleneck, not the design.

A D2C brand dropping 50 to 200 SKUs needs consistent on-model photos for every marketplace it sells on, and a studio shoot costs days and a large budget per drop. So listings go live late, or on flat-lays, or with a model on a few hero pieces and nothing on the rest. Generic image generators look like a shortcut until the garment changes between angles and the model has a different face in every shot.

What we build

  1. 01

    AI on-model catalogue images

One flat-lay or hanger shot per SKU becomes on-model imagery, with the garment and the model kept consistent across angles.

  2. 02

    Marketplace-ready output

Up to 4K, in ten aspect ratios, sized for Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, and Shopify, so one upload covers every listing.

  3. 03

Studio tools for the catalogue team

Wardrobe, model library, scenes, collections, and shot lists, on the web and in a companion mobile app.

  4. 04

    Online stores and product pages

Stores and catalogue sites with product data Google can read, so the new photos actually get found.

From production

What we learned building Kraftr.

  • Lock the garment, then generate

    Kraftr

Structured descriptions of the garment, the model, and the scene feed a prompt builder that keeps the wardrobe and the model's identity locked across every angle. The product looking like the product comes first.

  • Instant or overnight

    Kraftr

Shoot one look now, or queue a whole drop on the batch path, which runs at half the credit cost and lands within a day.

  • Seven queues, watched

    Kraftr

Generation, model builds, scene builds, jewelry libraries, video, and batch polling run on seven BullMQ queues on Redis, and workers write a heartbeat every 10 seconds to a liveness view in the admin.

  • Billing in six currencies

    Kraftr

Credit packs are billed through Razorpay in six currencies, for brands that sell, and pay, in more than one country.

Honest trade-offs

Use Kraftr, or build your own pipeline?

If you are a brand that needs on-model catalogue images this month, use Kraftr: upload, generate, download. Build your own when imagery sits inside a bigger system, such as a PIM, a marketplace with many sellers, or a store that generates looks on demand, and you need your own models, approvals, and storage. Kraftr's generation and storage providers are pluggable by config, so we start from a pipeline that already runs.

Questions

Fashion questions we get asked.

Can AI replace a fashion photoshoot?

For catalogue images across every SKU and marketplace, often yes. For hero campaigns and editorial work, a photographer still wins. Most brands use AI for the long tail and shoot the few images that carry the campaign.

Will the garment look the same as the real one?

Keeping it the same is the main job. Kraftr locks structured descriptions of the garment and the model across angles. Your team should still review every image before it goes live.

What photo do we need to start?

One flat-lay or hanger shot per SKU. Kraftr builds the on-model images from that.

Does it work for Indian ethnic wear?

Yes. The example on Kraftr's homepage is a flat-lay lehenga turned into a 4K studio image.

Can you build us an online store too?

Yes. We build stores and catalogue sites with product structured data and image sitemaps, and can feed Kraftr's images into the product pages.

Can you build image generation into our own systems?

Yes. Kraftr's generation and storage providers are pluggable by config, with storage on Google Cloud Storage, Cloudflare R2, or local disk, so the same pipeline can run inside your catalogue tools with your own models and approval steps.
