React development
Interfaces for the people who use the software all day.
Acasa Labs is a React development company. We build the screens people work in: dashboards, operator consoles, studio apps, and admin tools, in React with TypeScript, and in React Native when the same team ships the mobile app. Our React work includes a trading control dashboard, the Acasa Sentinel operator console, and Kraftr's catalog studio.
The problem
The dashboard is where the expensive bugs are.
A screen someone uses for eight hours a day has different problems from a marketing page. It holds a lot of state, it updates while a person is looking at it, and that person makes decisions from what it shows. A stale number, a table that re-renders on every tick, or a form that loses its data on refresh costs real money. React is a good tool for this when state, data fetching, and rendering are designed together, instead of patched one screen at a time.
What we build with React
- 01
Dashboards over live data
Charts, tables, and status views fed by WebSockets or polling, throttled so the screen stays readable and responsive under a burst.
- 02
Operator consoles
Review queues, maps, and evidence views for people who confirm or reject what a system found, with every decision kept in an audit trail.
- 03
Studio and editor apps
Multi-step creative tools where people manage libraries, build shot lists, and queue work, with their progress saved as they go.
- 04
Admin tools
Drag-and-drop ordering, visibility toggles, and validated uploads for the team that runs the content or the operation.
From production
React screens we built, and the choice behind each.
Throttled before it reaches the screen
Options trading platformThe trading dashboard gets market state through Redis and a WebSocket gateway, throttled per instrument. The browser receives updates at a rate a person can read, and if the gateway dies, trading does not notice.
Research in the same interface
Options trading platformThe same dashboard compares backtest runs and lets the team build strategies visually, over the Parquet tick archive the research runs on.
Candidates, not verdicts
Acasa SentinelAcasa Sentinel's operator console puts watchlist hits in a queue for a person to confirm or reject, with evidence crops and an audit trail. Route reconstruction says why it rejected a hop, so the operator can see the reasoning.
A studio, not a prompt box
KraftrKraftr's web app is a studio: wardrobe, model library, scenes, collections, shot lists, and credit packs. Brands shoot one look now or queue a whole drop for the overnight batch.
An admin built for one job
The Sharp InteriorsThe Sharp Interiors' gallery admin has drag-and-drop ordering of projects and of the images inside each one, feature images, and visibility toggles, with schema validation on every project.
Honest trade-offs
When plain React is not enough
If pages need to rank on Google or be read by AI crawlers, use Next.js, which renders React on the server. All nine systems on our work page use it. If the app is mostly forms over a database, a framework with a built-in admin, like Django, can save weeks of screens. We write plain client-side React for screens that live behind a login and change many times a second.
What we reach for
- React, TypeScript
- Next.js
- TanStack Query, server components
- Tailwind CSS
- WebSockets, server-sent events
- Leaflet, charting libraries
- React Native for mobile

01Client work
Options trading platform
Microsecond market-data handling for index options, with risk checks that never sleep.
A private trading platform for index options on an Indian exchange: tick capture, research and backtesting, paper and live execution, and a control dashboard. Built for a client's internal use; details are anonymized.

02Case study
Acasa Sentinel
Give it a number plate. It returns the vehicle's route across a CCTV network.
A vendor-neutral video analytics system built for the Gujarat Police Hackathon Innovation Challenge 2026. It reads number plates, re-identifies vehicles by appearance across cameras, reconstructs routes, and raises watchlist alerts for an operator to confirm.

03Our product
Kraftr
One flat-lay photo becomes catalog-ready 4K on-model imagery.
An AI catalog studio for fashion and jewelry brands. Upload one flat-lay or hanger shot per SKU and get on-model imagery at up to 4K, in ten aspect ratios, sized for Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, and Shopify.

Questions
React questions we get asked.
React or Next.js?
Next.js is React with server rendering and routing. We use it for anything with public pages. For a tool that lives entirely behind a login, plain React is fine. Either way you get the same components and the same team.
Can you speed up our slow React app?
Usually. Most slow React apps re-render too much, fetch too much, or ship too much JavaScript. We profile first, fix the worst screens, and measure again so you can see the difference.
Can the same team build our mobile app?
Yes. We build mobile apps in React Native with Expo, so types, API clients, and people carry over from the web app.
Can you take over our existing React codebase?
Yes. We audit the dependencies, the state management, and the build, upgrade what is stuck, and then ship features.
Do you build realtime dashboards?
Yes. The trading platform's dashboard updates from a WebSocket gateway throttled per instrument, so it stays readable and never slows the system it watches.
