Software maintenance and support

One team to call when something changes or breaks.

Acasa Labs offers software maintenance and support for web apps, mobile apps, and websites: updates, fixes, monitoring, hosting, and the small changes that come up every month. We are the ongoing IT partner for The Sharp Interiors, and we run five products of our own, so keeping software alive is daily work for us.

The problem

Software does not stay finished.

Frameworks release new versions, the app stores raise their minimum requirements, a payment gateway changes its API, and a dependency gets a security advisory. Meanwhile your team wants a new field on a form and a report for the board. If nobody owns the software after launch, these pile up until something breaks in front of a customer. Maintenance costs less than the emergency it prevents.

What we build

  1. 01

    Updates and security fixes

Framework, library, and SDK upgrades on a schedule, with dependency alerts handled before they become incidents.

  2. 02

    Monitoring that tells you first

Error tracking, uptime checks, and alerts on the jobs and queues that matter, so problems are found by us and not by your customers.

  3. 03

    Small changes, month to month

The new page, the extra field, the changed price, the report someone needs, handled by people who know the code.

  4. 04

    Hosting, domains, and accounts

Cloud hosting, domains, analytics, and app store accounts kept current, all in your name.

From production

How we keep software running.

  • The IT partner, not only the builder

    The Sharp Interiors

We built The Sharp Interiors' website and the custom CMS for its project gallery, and we look after the rest of their technology: hosting, domain, analytics, and the changes that come up month to month.

  • Health you can see

    Kraftr

Kraftr's workers write heartbeats every 10 seconds into a liveness view in the admin, so a stuck queue is visible before a customer reports it.

  • Recovery built in

    Pullsy

Pullsy's scheduler recovers crashed jobs from missed heartbeats, and Meta API errors are mapped to backoff with jitter, capped at 30 minutes, instead of failing the sync.

  • Alerts on what matters

    Options trading platform

The trading platform's latency is instrumented across 12 stages with exact percentile reservoirs, exported to Prometheus and Grafana with alert rules.

Honest trade-offs

When you do not need a support arrangement

A simple marketing site on a managed host, with a CMS your team edits, may need only an occasional check, not a monthly arrangement. Ongoing support makes sense when the software runs part of your business, takes payments, has a mobile app in the stores, or changes often. If someone else built your software, we start with a short audit before we agree to support it.

Questions

Maintenance and support questions we get asked.

Can you support software that another team built?

Yes. We start with a short audit of the code, the hosting, and the accounts, and tell you what is risky. Then we fix what is on fire and take over the routine work.

What does a maintenance arrangement usually cover?

Updates and security fixes, monitoring, hosting and domain upkeep, and an agreed amount of small changes each month. We write down what is included before we start, so the invoice holds no surprises.

Do you maintain mobile apps too?

Yes: SDK and OS updates, new store requirements, crash fixes, and releases. In Expo apps, fixes that do not need a store review can go out as over-the-air updates.

Who holds the passwords and accounts?

You do. Hosting, domain, app store, and analytics accounts are in your name, and we work in them as team members. If you ever move on, nothing has to be handed back.

Can maintenance include new features?

Yes. Small changes fit inside the monthly arrangement. Larger features are scoped separately, so the routine work does not stop while something bigger is built.

Who do you call when the site goes down?

Tell us what you run, who built it, and what has been bothering you. We will tell you what looking after it would involve.

No pitch deck. You own the code from day one.
