The problem

Creators pitch brands with screenshots. Instagram only keeps detailed insights for a short window, and the numbers it shows are hard to explain and easy to fake.

Analytics for creators. Pullsy keeps insights Instagram discards after about 90 days, explains what each number means, grades the account, and turns it into a media kit a brand can verify.

What we built

    A sync engine that does not drop data

    Scheduled pulls through Instagram's official sign-in, stored long after Instagram forgets them.

    A grade and a media kit

    A scoring service turns raw metrics into a grade and a shareable media kit that brands can check for themselves.

    A native iOS app

    SwiftUI on iOS 17+, with push notifications when something changes.

  4. 04

    A connector platform underneath

    A pluggable connector registry that already reaches beyond Instagram, plus a REST API with keys for developers.

Engineering notes

  • Reliable Redis queue: atomic move-with-ack, a delayed-retry set, and per-connection locks so one account never syncs twice.
  • Meta error codes mapped to backoff with jitter, capped at 30 minutes, with re-authorization handled as its own state.
  • A scheduler that recovers crashed jobs from missed heartbeats.
  • An entitlement service over per-seat and per-storefront plans, enforced down to a database constraint.
  • Multi-tenant isolation covered by tests.
