Software development company in India
An Indian build team, with products of its own in production.
Acasa Labs is a software development company in India, based in Surat, Gujarat. We build web apps, mobile apps, websites, and AI automation for Indian businesses and for companies abroad that want an Indian team. We run five products of our own, priced in rupees and other currencies, and one team builds the app and the automation inside it.
The problem
Plenty of Indian software firms. Few have run a product themselves.
Search for a software company in India and you get thousands of results, most with the same stock photos and the same list of technologies. It is hard to tell who has shipped something people pay for, and who will still pick up the phone after launch. Indian businesses have a second problem: software built for other markets rarely handles UPI, GST invoices, Indian marketplaces, or customers on mid-range Android phones and patchy data.
What we build
- 01
Built for how India pays
UPI, cards, and net banking through Razorpay, plans priced in rupees, and the invoices and reports your accountant asks for.
- 02
Apps for Android-first customers
Most Indian phones run Android, many of them mid-range and on uneven networks. We test on those, and ship iOS from the same codebase.
- 03
Selling on Indian marketplaces
Catalogue images, listings, and order data for Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and your own Shopify store.
- 04
Working with teams abroad
If you are outside India, you get the same team, written updates, and a weekly call, with the overlap set by your time zone. Our country pages cover the details.
From production
Built in India, running in production.
Sized for Indian marketplaces
KraftrKraftr turns one flat-lay photo per SKU into on-model catalogue imagery sized for Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, and Shopify, and bills in six currencies through Razorpay.
Rupee and dollar plans, enforced
PullsyPullsy prices its plans in INR and USD through Razorpay, and an entitlement service enforces each per-seat and per-storefront plan down to a database constraint.
Study tools for Indian exams
NoteTubeNoteTube's mobile app, built with Expo for iOS and Android, carries study roadmaps for NEET and JEE alongside study sessions and published study sets.
Data that stays in the country
Acasa SentinelAcasa Sentinel runs all its inference locally. No footage or number plate is sent to a third-party API, which matters when the data belongs to an Indian public body.
Honest trade-offs
Why an Indian team, and when it is the wrong call
An Indian team gives you a time zone that shares the Gulf's whole day and half of Europe's, people who already know UPI, Razorpay, and how Indian customers use apps, and engineering that costs less than in most Western markets. It is the wrong call if you need people in your office every day, if a contract requires engineers in your own country, or if the product depends on local knowledge of a market we have not worked in. We will say so in the first call.

Questions
India questions we get asked.
What time zone do you work in?
India Standard Time, UTC+5:30, all year. India has no daylight saving, so the gap to your time only changes when your own clocks change.
Do you only work with Indian companies?
No. We build for Indian businesses and for companies abroad. Our products take payments in rupees and dollars, and our client Siona Jewels sells to buyers in the US, Canada, and the UAE.
How do you handle India's data protection law?
The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, sets rules on consent, purpose, and how personal data is kept and erased. We build consent, access, and deletion into the app; your lawyer sets the policy. Card and UPI details stay with the payment gateway, never in your database.
Can you build apps in Hindi or Gujarati?
Yes. Apps and sites can support Hindi, Gujarati, and other Indian languages with the right fonts and layouts. We plan for it at the start, because adding a language later touches every screen.
Who owns what you build?
You do, from the first commit: the code, the Play Store and App Store accounts, and the cloud accounts it runs on.
