The problem
Students drown in material. A two-hour lecture or a 300-page PDF is easy to save and hard to learn from. Generic chatbots answer from the internet, not from the lecture the exam is about.
An AI learning platform that turns PDFs, YouTube lectures, recordings, and notes into a structured notebook with grounded chat, spaced-repetition flashcards, and graded quizzes.
What we built
- 01
Retrieval over every source a student uploads
Videos, PDFs, DOCX, images, articles, and audio are parsed, chunked, embedded, and stored in Qdrant with per-user, per-session scoping. Chat answers stream back grounded in that material, not the open web.
- 02
Study tools generated from the same index
Summaries, chapters, mind maps, podcasts, quizzes, and SM-2 spaced-repetition flashcards, all built from the student's own sources.
- 03
One product on five surfaces
A Next.js web app, an Expo app for iOS and Android, a Chrome extension that transcribes Google Meet tab audio, and a remote MCP server so ChatGPT, Claude, and Cursor can query a student's notes.
- 04
A creator marketplace
Educators sell study material through Stripe Connect, with payouts, balances, and earnings dashboards.
On mobile
The same product in the App Store and Play Store, sharing one backend with the web app.

Engineering notes
- AI keys live only in a separate FastAPI service; the web and mobile clients never see them.
- Streaming RAG chat over server-sent events, with inactivity timeouts so dead connections do not hold resources.
- Remote MCP server on Cloudflare Workers with OAuth, protected-resource metadata, and audience-checked tokens.
- Dual billing: Stripe on web, RevenueCat in the apps, and a scheduled job that reconciles subscriptions between them.
- Model choice per conversation across OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, Llama, and Mistral.
