Offshore software development for US companies
An Indian team on your product, awake for at least 4 hours of your day.
Acasa Labs does offshore software development for US companies from Surat, India. We build web apps, mobile apps, and AI features, and run five products of our own on the same stack. India is 9.5 to 13.5 hours ahead of the US, so we shift our working day to give you at least 4 hours of overlap and a call every working day.
The problem
Offshore went wrong last time. Usually for the same three reasons.
Most bad offshore stories sound alike. Nobody was around when a question came up, so a day was lost waiting for an answer. The team said yes to everything and shipped something else. And when the contract ended, the code sat in the vendor's accounts with nobody left who understood it. None of that is about geography. It is about how the work is run, who owns what, and whether the team has shipped products of its own.
What we build
- 01
Our day moves to yours
At least 4 hours of overlap and a call every working day in your morning. The rest of our day keeps the work moving while you sleep.
- 02
Products, not tickets
Web apps, iOS and Android apps, and AI features, built by people who run their own products and will push back when a request would hurt yours.
- 03
Your accounts from day one
Repositories, cloud, app store, and payment accounts in your company's name, so there is nothing to hand over at the end.
- 04
Billing for US customers
Stripe on the web, Apple and Google in-app purchase through RevenueCat, and plans priced in dollars.
From production
Work that already serves US customers.
A catalogue for US buyers
Siona JewelsSiona Jewels, a Mumbai jewellery manufacturer, sells to retailers and private-label brands in the US, Canada, and the UAE. We built its B2B catalogue, with a page for each export market.
Stripe and the app stores, reconciled
NoteTubeNoteTube bills through Stripe on the web and RevenueCat in the iOS and Android apps, and a scheduled job reconciles subscriptions between the two.
Priced in dollars
PullsyPullsy sells its plans in USD as well as INR, with a native SwiftUI app for iOS 17 and later, and a REST API with keys for developers.
AI keys kept off the client
NoteTubeNoteTube's AI keys live only in a separate FastAPI service. The web and mobile clients never see them.
Honest trade-offs
When an offshore team is the wrong choice
If your product needs someone in the room every day, or live sessions across your whole working day, an onshore team will serve you better. The same goes for work a contract or regulation says must be done in the US, such as some government and defence projects. For most product work, 4 hours of overlap and good writing are enough, and the time difference means work moves while you sleep.

02Client work
Siona Jewels
A jewellery manufacturer's catalogue that buyers find on Google and in ChatGPT, and that turns a design number into a lead.
Siona Jewels is a fine jewellery manufacturer in Mumbai selling to retailers and private-label brands in India, the US, Canada, and the UAE. We built their B2B catalogue site, the CMS behind it, the email automation that routes every enquiry to sales, and the search and AI-answer setup that gets them found.

Questions
USA questions we get asked.
How much of our day overlaps with yours?
India Standard Time is UTC+5:30 with no daylight saving. We are 9.5 hours ahead of New York in summer and 10.5 in winter, and 12.5 to 13.5 hours ahead of California. We shift our day to give you at least 4 hours of overlap, with a call every working day in your morning, and keep the rest written.
Why does the gap change in March and November?
The US moves its clocks on the second Sunday in March and the first Sunday in November. India does not, so the difference shifts by an hour on those dates and the call time moves with it.
How do contracts and payment work?
We sign a written agreement electronically, covering scope, assignment of IP to you, and payment terms. US companies usually pay an Indian supplier by international wire or a payment platform, and the agreement says which currency and who covers the bank fees.
What about US privacy laws?
The US has no single federal privacy law. State laws such as California's CCPA reach many consumer apps, HIPAA covers health data, and COPPA covers children under 13. We build the consent, access, and deletion features those laws call for; your lawyer decides which apply.
Who owns the code and the accounts?
Your company does. The repositories, the cloud and app store accounts, and the data are in your name from the start.
