Software development company for UK businesses
Half your working day overlaps ours. In the other half, the work keeps moving.
Acasa Labs is a software development company in Surat, India, building web apps, mobile apps, and AI for UK businesses. India is 4.5 hours ahead of London in British Summer Time and 5.5 hours in winter, so your morning and our afternoon overlap every working day. We design for UK GDPR from the start.
The problem
A UK agency quote is steep. Offshore feels like a gamble with your data.
A custom app from a UK agency is often more than a small or mid-size business can justify. Going offshore saves money but raises questions a UK business has to answer: where personal data goes, who processes it, what the contract says if something leaks, and whether anyone is around when a customer calls at ten in the morning. Those questions have clear answers, and the team you pick should give them before you ask.
What we build
- 01
Overlap you can schedule
A standup at the start of your day, live work until your lunch, and a written update before you log off.
- 02
UK GDPR designed in
Consent, subject access requests, deletion, and retention built into the app, not added after an audit.
- 03
Data kept where you choose
Hosting in a UK or EU cloud region, with personal data processed only where your agreement allows.
- 04
Sterling checkout
Stripe in GBP on the web, and in-app purchase for apps sold in the UK App Store and Google Play.
From production
Privacy choices we have already made in production.
Inference that never leaves the machine
Acasa SentinelAcasa Sentinel runs all its inference locally. No footage or number plate is sent to a third-party API, the simplest way to keep personal data out of other hands.
Analytics without personal data
Siona JewelsSiona Jewels tracks design views, shortlists, contact clicks, and leads in GA4 with no personal details sent, so the analytics carry no names or email addresses.
Each user's data kept to that user
NoteTubeNoteTube stores every user's material in Qdrant scoped per user and per session, so a search can only reach that person's own sources.
Personal data in one known place
Siona JewelsSiona's enquiries are created only by a server action behind Turnstile and a honeypot, and saved in the CMS before any email is sent.
Honest trade-offs
When a UK team is the better call
If you need people on site in London every week, or a supplier with UK insurance and a UK contracting entity, hire locally. Some public-sector and regulated work also expects data and staff in the UK. For product work that can be done remotely, an Indian team with half a day of overlap, a clear data processing agreement, and UK or EU hosting covers what most UK businesses need.

Acasa Sentinel
Give it a number plate. It returns the vehicle's route across a CCTV network.
A vendor-neutral video analytics system built for the Gujarat Police Hackathon Innovation Challenge 2026. It reads number plates, re-identifies vehicles by appearance across cameras, reconstructs routes, and raises watchlist alerts for an operator to confirm.

02Client work
Siona Jewels
A jewellery manufacturer's catalogue that buyers find on Google and in ChatGPT, and that turns a design number into a lead.
Siona Jewels is a fine jewellery manufacturer in Mumbai selling to retailers and private-label brands in India, the US, Canada, and the UAE. We built their B2B catalogue site, the CMS behind it, the email automation that routes every enquiry to sales, and the search and AI-answer setup that gets them found.

Questions
UK questions we get asked.
What are your working hours in UK time?
India Standard Time is UTC+5:30 with no daylight saving. In British Summer Time we are 4.5 hours ahead, so 09:00 in London is 13:30 for us. In winter the gap is 5.5 hours. Either way, your morning is our afternoon.
Can personal data go to India under UK GDPR?
It can, with safeguards. India has no UK adequacy regulations, so transfers usually rely on the ICO's International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU clauses, with a risk assessment. Your data protection lead decides; we work to the agreement you put in place.
Can our data stay in the UK?
Yes. The app and database can run in a London cloud region on AWS or Google Cloud, and we can work on the system without copying personal data to our own machines.
Will you work under a data processing agreement?
Yes. When we handle personal data for you, UK GDPR expects a written contract between you as controller and us as processor, and we work under one.
How do UK businesses pay you?
We agree the currency in the proposal. UK businesses usually pay an Indian supplier by international bank transfer or a payment platform, and the agreement says who covers the fees.
