Australian businesses that want custom software often find local developers expensive and hard to book. Teams in Europe or the Americas are awake when you are not, so every question costs a day. India sits in between: close enough to share half your working day, and far enough behind that work keeps going after you finish. The rest depends on the team: how they write, what they have shipped, and whether they understand the Privacy Act.

Acasa SentinelAcasa Sentinel keeps all inference on its own hardware and sends no footage or plates to a third-party API. When data should not cross a border, that is the pattern we start from.
Built for bad signal
GymFastGymFast saves an in-progress workout on the phone, so a dropped connection does not lose the session. Apps used in warehouses, on sites, and in regional areas need the same care.
Five surfaces, one backend
NoteTubeNoteTube runs as a web app, iOS and Android apps, a Chrome extension, and a remote MCP server, all on one backend that one team maintains.

The Sharp InteriorsWe built the website and gallery admin for The Sharp Interiors, an interior design firm, and remain their IT partner for hosting, the domain, analytics, and monthly changes.
Honest trade-offs
When to hire in Australia instead
If you need someone at your office each week, or a supplier with Australian insurance and an ABN for a government or enterprise panel, a local team is the better fit. The same goes for work a contract says must be done onshore. For product work that can be remote, half a day of overlap and a good written handover each evening get you most of the way.

Acasa Sentinel
Give it a number plate. It returns the vehicle's route across a CCTV network.
A vendor-neutral video analytics system built for the Gujarat Police Hackathon Innovation Challenge 2026. It reads number plates, re-identifies vehicles by appearance across cameras, reconstructs routes, and raises watchlist alerts for an operator to confirm.

Australia questions we get asked.
How do Australian time zones line up with India?
India is UTC+5:30 all year. Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, and Hobart are 4.5 hours ahead of us in winter and 5.5 in summer. Brisbane has no daylight saving, so it stays 4.5 hours ahead. Adelaide is 4 hours ahead in winter and 5 in summer, and Perth is 2.5 hours ahead all year.
What does that mean for meetings?
From Sydney in winter, 14:30 is 10:00 for us, so the afternoon is shared. Perth shares more of the day: noon in Perth is 09:30 in India. We set a regular call in the overlap and keep the rest written.
Does the Privacy Act apply to us?
The Privacy Act 1988 and its Australian Privacy Principles apply to most businesses with annual turnover above A$3 million, and to some smaller ones, such as health service providers. APP 8 covers sending personal information overseas. Your lawyer decides what applies; we build what it requires.
Can our data stay in Australia?
Yes. The app and database can run in a Sydney or Melbourne cloud region, and we can work on the system without copying customer data out of it.
How would we pay you?
The currency is set in the proposal, and Australian businesses usually pay overseas suppliers by international transfer or a payment platform. The agreement says who covers the transfer fees.
