Software development company for UAE businesses

Ninety minutes ahead of Dubai. Close enough to feel like the next building.

Acasa Labs is a software development company in Surat, India, building web apps, mobile apps, and AI for businesses in the UAE. India is 1.5 hours ahead of the UAE all year, so nearly your whole working day is ours too. Our client Siona Jewels already sells to buyers in the UAE.

The problem

Local agencies are costly. Remote ones keep the wrong hours.

Building software in the UAE often means choosing between local agencies that cost more than many projects can carry, and remote teams in time zones that leave you waiting overnight for an answer. Many UAE businesses also serve customers in Arabic and English, take payments in dirhams, and need to know where customer data is stored. The right team treats all of that as normal, not as a special request.

What we build

  1. 01

    Same-day answers

With a 1.5-hour gap, calls, reviews, and fixes happen inside your working day, not overnight.

  2. 02

    Arabic and English

Right-to-left layouts, Arabic fonts, and two-language content planned from the first screen, not bolted on later.

  3. 03

    Payments in dirhams

Checkout in AED through Stripe or a local gateway, and in-app purchase for apps sold in the UAE stores.

  4. 04

Data where it may be kept

Hosting in a UAE cloud region when customer data needs to stay in the country.

From production

Work that already reaches the Gulf.

  • A catalogue that sells into the UAE

    Siona Jewels

Siona Jewels has a page for each of its four export markets, the UAE among them, and every enquiry records the buyer's company, country, and quantity before it reaches sales.

  • Billing in six currencies

    Kraftr

Kraftr bills in six currencies through Razorpay, so customers outside India pay in their own currency.

  • The customer's brand on every screen

    GymFast

GymFast themes its web dashboard and mobile apps in each gym's own colours from one setting, so members open an app that looks like their gym, not ours.

  • One team to call after launch

    The Sharp Interiors

For The Sharp Interiors we built the site and a custom gallery CMS, and we stay on as their IT partner for hosting, domain, analytics, and month-to-month changes.

Honest trade-offs

When you need someone in Dubai

If your project needs a supplier registered in the UAE, as some government and free-zone tenders do, or weekly workshops in your office, a local agency is the simpler path. For most product work, a team ninety minutes away, on a working week that lines up with yours, gets you close to local speed. We will tell you in the first call which one your project needs.

What we reach for

    Siona Jewels

A jewellery manufacturer's catalogue that buyers find on Google and in ChatGPT, and that turns a design number into a lead.

Siona Jewels is a fine jewellery manufacturer in Mumbai selling to retailers and private-label brands in India, the US, Canada, and the UAE. We built their B2B catalogue site, the CMS behind it, the email automation that routes every enquiry to sales, and the search and AI-answer setup that gets them found.

Questions

UAE questions we get asked.

How much of our working day overlaps with yours?

Nearly all of it. The UAE is on UTC+4 and India on UTC+5:30, and neither uses daylight saving, so the gap is 1.5 hours all year. 08:30 to 17:30 in Dubai is 10:00 to 19:00 for us.

What about the UAE working week?

Since January 2022 the federal government has worked Monday to Friday, with Saturday and Sunday off, and many private companies moved with it. That lines up with the Indian working week, so no days are lost at either end.

Can you build apps in Arabic?

Yes. Arabic needs right-to-left layouts, mirrored navigation, and fonts that render it well, and all of that is far easier planned from the start. We build both languages on the same screens so the content stays in step.

Where should our customer data be stored?

The UAE's Personal Data Protection Law, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, sets rules on processing and on transfers abroad, and free zones such as DIFC and ADGM have their own data laws. Health data has stricter rules. We can host in a UAE cloud region; your lawyer confirms what applies.

Which currency do we pay in?

We agree it in the proposal. The dirham is pegged to the US dollar, so many UAE businesses contract in AED or USD and pay by international bank transfer.
